Our Process

The first step in our process is an in depth case-assessment. You will have an intake consultation where we discuss your child and their needs.

Next, we do a thorough review of the documents provided by you including:

• your child’s evaluations that were used to determine eligibility
• any recent evaluations or diagnosis
• current IEP or 504 plan
• most recent report card and progress report
• discipline reports
• behavior support or behavior intervention plans
• functional behavioral assessments
• truancy letters

If we are helping you with a serious discipline issue, we will need:

• behavior evaluations that were completed
• functional behavior assessments
• behavior intervention plans or behavior support plans
• chapter 19 investigative findings report
• PWN from the manifestation hearing
• manifestation determination paperwork

After we’ve reviewed your documentation and we feel your case is viable, we will begin our advocacy work.
