Juvenile Justice

Hawaii Education Advocates provide case advocacy for youth with court involvement, school suspension, and/or emotional challenges. We will help you resolve their education-related issues and increase their academic achievements. 

We will help you:

• Secure appropriate school placements and educational services 
• Advocate for appropriate behavior support services 
• Advocate for positive alternatives, such as using behavior modification strategies or programs
• Understand the manifestation process
• Understand your safeguards and how to use them
• Ensure your child receives alternative instruction during the period of suspension
• Provide assistance with mediation
• Advocate for appropriate evaluations
